I have been on the hunt for these Eggland’s Best Hard-Cooked Peeled Eggs and could not find them anywhere, until I stumbled upon them at Target! I had heard about these eggs in my Weight Watchers meeting and decided I needed to give them a try. Egg salad sandwiches have become a staple in my life.I find egg salad sandwiches are super filling, they satisfy me and they can cure any hunger jaunt my stomach may be going on.
So, what’s so special about these Eggland’s Best Hard-Cooked Peeled eggs? Well, they are a medium hard boiled egg BUT they are only 60 calories each and are 1 points plus each. Typically, eggs are 2 points plus, but these are a point less. A point is a point in my book.
I tried these in an egg salad sandwich and they are quite good. They don’t have an odd taste; they taste like regular fresh eggs. Although … I did find they are not as filling as a standard boiled egg would have been.I can’t say I’d always have these on hand, but they are a nice treat to have on hand for those days when you’re in a rush and/or don’t want to wait around for your eggs to hard boil.If you like eggs in your salad, you could quickly pull one of these out of the bag, chop it up and have it with your salad. Quick, easy and relatively cheap!A bag of six was a little under $3.

I spotted this Weight Watchers Jalapeno String Cheese at Walmart many, many times and finally decided to give it a whirl. My local grocery store only carries the classic light and the smoked so I usually don’t purchase any string cheese. This string cheese has the classis light part-skim mozzarella cheese stick flavor but the jalapeno does bring it a nice, I feel a mild zip to it. I personally don’t really care for light string cheese because I find the flavor of it to be overwhelming and unpalatable but this particular flavor variety I do enjoy.
Hot Pepper Jack cheese is one of my favorites to have with crackers and pepperoni – but since 1 ounce is not justifiable for the points I don’t purchase it any longer. But with this jalapeno cheese I can tear off some strips, have it with some turkey pepperoni and a few Ritz crackers and I’d be good to go.
As mentioned I can only find this particular string cheese at super Walmart locations.
Dannon makes one of my favorite brands of Greek yogurt so when I finally spotted the Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt Dip in French Onion I immediately had to put it into my cart. I’m a big fan of chips and dip and dips are not the most point friendly type of sides, especially because most dips have a 1 or 2 tablespoon servings and typically are loaded with fat. Because of that it’s really easy to overeat because it can be one of those types of foods you accidentally overeat while chatting, etc.
One great thing about this product is, the serving size of the Dannon Oikos dips are 2 tablespoons. 2 tablespoons is 1 points plus BUT so is 4 tablespoons!
Now, this is made from Greek yogurt (and if you like Greek yogurt you know that plain Greek yogurt is VERY tart) so you cannot take a bite of this and hope it taste just like a full fat French onion dip. The French onion flavor is kind of overwhelmed by the tartness of the yogurt, but it is a nice dip to have with chips or carrots. The French onion flavor is there, but it’s not as bold and in your face as it would normally be because the Greek yogurt is tart and does bring that flavor category down a bit.Nonetheless it is tasty and a nice treat to have one in a while.
